HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

I am very glad 2007 is over. There were some good points but some bad ones as well.
I began a new job in January with a new start-up company.
In March I bought my dream car – an English racing green Mini Cooper. I LOVE THIS CAR.
In June I went to China. What a great trip.
In July we had a family reunion. Saw many folks not seen in years.
In September my camera was stolen on a Saturday. Arrgh!
The following Monday, the company I worked for folded and I was out of a job. Double Arrgh!

So the year started out pretty good and ended badly.

2008 can only get better.
I’m trying a new medium – Acrylics.
Saving to replace my camera. I hope to trade up.
Looking for a new job.
And I am optimistic for the New Year!

I woke up this morning to my son telling me that someone had broken into our garage and the things from my car were all over the front yard.
When I got out there I found everything except my camera.
The no good #$@^%*^&*(*))**^% stole my camera.

The police tell me that it is unlikely that I will get it back.

I live in a town that up until last night I never had to lock things up.

I hate that such slime balls feel that they have the right to take things just because they can.

It just pisses me off to no end.

Clubs:

Came for business now complete I have two days to eat, wander and take pictures.

I had to go to a trade show in Shanghai, PRC ( Big sacrifice I know). To save some bucks we are staying a few extra days.
Tomorrow we will spend the day exploring this mavelous place. The people in Shanghai are extremely gregariuos and friendly.
I can't believe how cheap some things are here.
I bought a gift yesterday for 30 Yuan ( about $4.50) that if I bought it in the states would cost $65.
I am hoping to get some terrific pictures and I will be uploading them soon.

I always liked Chinese food, but based on the great food we have been eating the last few days, I don't know what they serve in those restaurants. It will be hard to go back to "Ameican" Chinese food.
